Holly Lynn Ullmann

Holly Lynn Ullmann, 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on June 20, 1945 in San Diego, California to Helen Anderson and Leslie F. Stowater. A proud US Army wife and all that goes with it. She attended Colorado State University to study her passion which was art. She painted in all mediums of art expression. She was a Young Life camp counsellor for several summers in Colorado. Score keeper at baseball games, she sat in on the stands or on the sidelines at basketball, baseball, softball, football, soccer, lacrosse, and volleyball games. She was a gourmet cook experimenting successfully across several culinary undertakings. She loved Jesus and studying, singing, and talking about Him. She was an evangelist for the Holy Trinity. She was a Jacquelyn of all trades, fixing cars, installing dishwashers almost anything mechanical. She had a green thumb always in the garden or changing the design of the landscaping with tools in hand. She was one of the first field engineers to work for IBM. She liked sports cars and driving fast. She was duel left brain and right brain competent. She made a house a castle with her art and design abilities. She taught Sunday School, created and directed church pageants and sang in choir. An accomplished pianist since the age of 8, she played the piano frequently. She worked side by side with her husband to build their company and was essentially the CPA for the family as well as the business. Holly is survived by her husband, Andrew T. (Tom) Ullmann; children, Scott, Susan Hughes, Kirsten Volpi, Timothy; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. Jon Stowater, DVM. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Atonement Catholic Church.
