She will be remembered for her generous and loving nature, and quick wit. She was the matriarch of the family, the glue that held our family together.
She was a loyal fan of her beloved San Antonio Spurs. Texas Longhorns, and Dallas Cowboys never missing a televised game.
She will be sadly missed by her children Alfonso (Diane) Lozano of Silver City, NM, Anna L. McCleary of San Antonio, TX, Gerardo A. Lozano of College Station, TX, Frances L.(Herbert) Shadrock of Schertz, TX.
Her grandchildren Thomas Lozano, Gerardo "LJ" Rodriguez, William "Billy" McCleary, Gabrielle "Gabby" Lozano, Nicholas and Cecilia Shadrock, Great grandchildren Kaylie Rodriguez and Juni Lozano.
Over the years, she influenced many close friends and acquaintances through her gentle, generous, and loving ways.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mauro F. Luna Sr. and Paula T. Luna, her husband Luciano M. Lozano, and a brother Mauro F. Luna, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in her name be made to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm- 8:00pm on Wednesday October 2, 2019 at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 N. Loop 1604 E., San Antonio Texas 78232. A rosary will be recited that same evening at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on Thursday October 3, 2019 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 8134 Blanco Road, San Antonio, Texas 78216. Reception will immediately follow the Mass in the reception hall.
