He was born June 19, 1930, Woodbine, Georgia, to the late Lee and Ocie Liles.
He proudly served his country in the US Air Force and retired after 28 years of dedicated service. Jim then worked with Bell Helicopter for 15 years.
He was a member of ParkHills Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Katie Snapp.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Liles; children, Pam Snapp, Rhonda Liles, Anna Geleske, Jim Liles and Cynthia Rodgers; grandchildren, Sarah Snyder, Molly Simien, Caleb Geleske, Rachel Bates and Riley Taylor III; siblings, Jon Liles, Lucille Clarke, Irene Waldron and Sandra Grund.
