

He was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on August 29, 1928 to William and Dorothy Duckert Nauschuetz. He graduated from Sheboygan Central High School, and joined the U. S. Army where he proudly served for 23 years. He fought in both the Korea and Vietnam military campaigns.
After retiring from the Army in 1970, he received his degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh.
Following his second retirement as an employment counselor in Sheboygan, he moved to Las Vegas where he lived with his wife of 56 years, Renee, until her death in 2006.
In late 2006, he moved to Bulverde, Texas to join his sons Bill and Rodney, and their families. He is survived by his son, Rodney Nauschuetz and wife Theresa; daughter, Mona Tobin and husband Edward; son, Bill Nauschuetz and wife Karen; daughter, Cheryl Klatt and husband Ron; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Corrita Hoffman.
Even though Hugo is reunited with his beloved wife, his family mourns the loss of a father, a friend, and a mentor.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
