

Humbert dedicated many years of his life to his work as an electrician and was a proud member of IBEW Local No. 60 and the Christopher Columbus Italian Society. He also attended Little Flower Basilica High School in San Antonio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma Arnold and Humbert A. Marotta Sr., and sister, Martha Sandoval.
Humbert is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Frances Marotta and his children; Anthony Marotta (Karen), and John Marotta (Kathy); Nancy Marotta Cuellar (Richard), seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
The family will receive guests at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church, located at 205 Piazza Italia, San Antonio, Texas. The Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Mass at 10:30 a.m., at the same location. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Humbert’s honor to the Discalced Carmelite Monastery and San Juan de Los Lagos Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Marotta, Brandon Marotta, Riley Cuellar, George Taylor, Ralph Paglia and Joseph Luna. Honorary Pallbearer: Bobby Corbo.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Joe Marotta and the wonderful staff at Harbour Hospice for their incredible care, compassion and support during this difficult time.
Humbert will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his faith, and the many lives he touched throughout his long and meaningful life.
