Humberto was a graduate of San Antonio College, Army World War II veteran and member of the following societies and associations: Spanish Cultural and Historical Society, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Jewish War Veterans, Disabled American Veterans, US Army Company 201 and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys; brothers, Emilio, Oscar, Quirino, Rueben, Joe, and Hector Naranjo; sisters, Lupe Fierros, Flavia Yousey, and Minerva Garza.
Humberto is survived by his daughters, Diana Lardizabal of San Antonio, Flavia Valle and husband Jorge of San Antonio; nephew, Luis Hernandez; grandchildren, Claudia Lardizabal and Brian Murphy, Diana Lardizabal and Juan Carlos Ordonez, Andres Lardizabal, Rodrigo Valle and wife Rosa; great-grandchildren: Andrea, Killian, Ian, Izaak, Jackeline, Sebastian, and Khloe.
