Ida R. Leyendecker

Ida R. Leyendecker entered rest on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at the age of 69. Ida was born in San Antonio on August 30, 1941. She attended Edison High School, where she graduated in 1959. She worked as an executive secretary for two major corporations. She was an active member of St. Pius X Catholic Church for many years. Ida loved playing Bridge and will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd G. and Edith Williams. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Arthur J. Leyendecker; her children, Patrick Maxwell and Bridget Leyendecker; grandson, Christopher Maxwell; brother Carl Ray Williams. She will be missed by her many relatives and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3303 Urban Crest Drive, San Antonio, TX 78209. Father Francis McHugh officiating.
