Ida Rose Mirabello, age 98, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Salvatore "Sam" Mirabello.
Ida graduated from Morristown High School and worked at the Credit Bureau, TDI, and Nichols Mailing in Morristown, NJ. She was a talented dancer, even trying out for the Rockettes in her younger years. Ida loved animals and was an avid bowler well into her 90s.
Ida loved her friends and family and enjoyed countless summers making memories at the Jersey Shore. She was a proud member of the Hillside Hose Ladies Auxiliary, using her talents as a seamstress to make costumes for events hosted by the Hillside Hose Company Volunteer Fire Department in Morris Township, NJ.
Ida is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Deighan; her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Patricia Mirabello; grandchildren, Nikki Morello and Ryan Deighan; and two great-grandchildren, Lucas and Audriana Morello.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
