She was born in Martindale, Texas. She resided in San Antonio, Texas until 2001 and then moved to DeRidder.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus S. Sanchez; daughter, Gloria Johnson and son, Hugo N. Sanchez.
She is survived by her children, Angela Lannen of DeRidder, LA, Jesse N. Sanchez and wife Norberta of San Antonio, and Ana S. Hamm of San Antonio; grandchildren, Rene Guerra, Jr., Edward Guerra, Gloria Minyon, Julius Guerra, Barbara Petolillo, Sylvia Baker, Sandra Martin, Patricia Denson, Victor R. Sanchez and George Lannen, III; twenty-three great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances Natal, Anita Torres, Celia Lopez, Mary Lois Rivas, Eva O'Donnell; and many nieces and nephews.
