Ignacia G. Vasquez

Our Beloved mother, Ignacia Guerrero Vasquez, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 14, 2020. She was born in San Marcos, Texas on February 1, 1924. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by everyone.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Carlos Z. Vasquez, sons, Carlos and Gilbert Vasquez.

She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia G. Vasquez; son, Randy G. Vasquez and wife/daughter-in-law Evangeline R. Vasquez; daughter-in-law, Irene G. Vasquez; grandchildren, Carlos, Jr. and Richard Vasquez, Andrea Castillo, Amanda Whitelonis, Laura and Hope Vasquez, Carey Ann Vasquez and Vernon Barnes; several brothers, sisters, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday March 24, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home on 226 Cupples Rd. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday March 25, 2020 at 11:45 a.m. at the Funeral Home. The Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home after the Funeral Service, to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery to arrive at 1:30 p.m. for interment.
