Ignacio R. Alcorta

Ignacio Rodriguez Alcorta born on July 31, 1933 went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2018. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Ofelia G. Alcorta. He is survived by his children Ignacio Jr. (Marina), Tammie Diaz (Ralph), Leonard Alcorta and Ofelia M. Alcorta; grandchildren Matthew, Eric, Alisa, Ethan and Adrian& his sister Julia Alcorta Hime and Michelle Ozuna-Gomez. Ignacio enjoyed playing the accordion, he loved volunteering at the nursing homes. He collected coins and stamps. He was a huge Spurs and Dallas Cowboys fan. Ignacio worked at Kelly AFB for over 35 years of his life. He will truly be missed by family and friends. A visitation will be on Monday April 2, 2018 at Trevino funeral home at 5:00pm located at 2525 Palo Alto rd. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. On Tuesday April 3, 2018 a funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:30 am for an 11:00 am mass at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church. An interment will follow at First Memorial Cemetery on Hwy 16, Von Ormy, TX.
