Irene L. Diaz passed away on Friday July 17, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. Irene enjoyed reading, bowling and family. She retired from Edgewood I.S.D. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jose A. Diaz, Sr., parents Jose A. Llanes, Sr. and Francisca Llanes. She is survived her Children Albert Diaz (Debbie), Katherine de Leon (Johnny), Jose A. Diaz, Jr., Karen Diaz Martinez (Andy Vasquez), Christopher Diaz (Edward Jimenez), grandchildren Janelle, Stephanie, Alyssa, Brittany, Kayla, Michael, Jonathan, Jaymes, JD., Aaron, Krystal, great grandchildren Aidiana, Michael Jr., Jayla, Devon, Deja, Dominic, Addison, Irene, Gunnor, Harley, Jonathan, Roland, Jerome, brother Jose A. Llanes, Jr. (Gloria), sister Teresa Vargas, brother-in-law Santiago Diaz, Jr. (Delia), numerous nieces and one nephew. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 23, 2015 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home from 5-9pm, with a rosary at 7pm. A mass will be celebrated on Friday July 24, 2015 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11am. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
