Irene W. White

Irene W. White age 78 passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on June 5, 1938 in Goodville, PA to Moses and Verna Weaver. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Ray White; and her parents Moses and Verna [Gehman] Weaver. She is survived by daughter, Tasha (David) Mitchell; and grandson, Raleigh; sisters Evelyn (Jim) White, Elsie (Marvin) Stauffer and Esther Mae (Leland) Seibel; brother, Mervin (Sheila).

Irene had a talent for hospitality and creativity. She excelled at making you feel welcomed anytime you were in her home and always put a special thought into her meals and gifts. Her lifelong love of nature was evident in paintings she had composed earlier in her life, pictures she took, and plants she tended at her home. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Porter Loring on McCullough from 5 to 7 pm.
