With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Irene F. Ytuarte, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and cherished member of her family. Irene will be remembered for the love she shared, the memories she created, and the special joy she brought to the lives of those around her.
Irene was the beloved wife of Geronimo C. Ytuarte and the loving daughter of Anna P. Flores and Jesus Flores. Her greatest blessings in life were her family and the many moments they shared together.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Geronimo C. Ytuarte; her son, Jeremy Castillo; and her daughters, Laura Torres, Patricia Berrones, Yvette Tenorio, and Melissa Parra. She is also survived by her siblings, her brother Jesse Flores and her sisters Molly Campos and Yolanda Martinez. Irene leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her love and the memories she made with them.
Irene had a special way of making life beautiful, and her hobbies reflected her creativity, personality, and love for the little things that made life meaningful. She loved gardening, spending time outdoors tending to her plants and watching them grow. She enjoyed the excitement of searching for good finds at yard sales, always on the lookout for a special treasure or bargain. Shopping was another favorite pastime, and she had a knack for finding things she loved.
Irene was also a gifted crafter who enjoyed creating things with her own hands. One of her greatest joys was decorating for every holiday, transforming her home with festive touches and making each season feel special. Whether it was a holiday celebration, a beautifully decorated home, or a family gathering filled with food, laughter, and conversation, Irene knew how to make the occasion memorable. Family gatherings held a special place in her heart, and bringing her loved ones together was one of the ways she showed her love. Her home, her decorations, her creativity, and her treasured traditions helped create memories her family will carry with them forever.
Irene was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Anna P. Flores and Jesus Flores; her sisters, Evangelina Robledo, and Corina Rangel; and her brothers, Rodolfo Garza, David Garza, Hector Flores, and Arturo Garza.
Though Irene will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, creativity, and family togetherness will live on through the generations she leaves behind. Her family will forever cherish the memories of her, from the simple joys of everyday life to the special occasions she made unforgettable.
May her loved ones find comfort in the memories they shared, the traditions she passed down, and the enduring love that will always connect them to her.
