Irma Melendez Estrada

Irma was born in San Antonio, Texas with a twin sister, Sylvia and with loving parents Sarah and Amado Melendez, all who preceded her in death. She had an amazing and wonderful life filled with the love of family, friends and an adoration for her Catholic faith in God. She was an amazing cook, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mom will remain in the hearts of her family forever including three sons, Ruben, Ernest and Roger, daughters-in-law, Lety and Debbie, son-in-law, Patrick Bynum, grandchildren, Ruben, Alejandro, Erica, Lauren, Angel and Danny, great grandchildren, Aria, Elijah, James Daniel, (J.D.) and Isabella, (Izze), brother and sister-in-law, Hector and Maria Elena Melendez. And countless other family and friends.

Mom was a force of life and touched everyone she met with kindness and a beautiful smile. She left an amazing legacy that will transcend generations for years to come.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
