Irma Mascorro Ramirez, 86, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026. Born in San Antonio to Lionel Mascorro and Consuelo Segovia. Irma was a strong, hardworking woman whose greatest joy was her family. Her life was rooted in faith, prayer, and love of God, and she carried that faith into everything she did. She had a vibrant spirit — a love for music and dancing — and found happiness in simple moments spent with the people she loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Blanca Alicia Aguirre.
She is survived by her children Eddie Ramirez (Rebecca), Rosalie Dowling (Timothy), Belinda Ramirez, and Veronica Provitola (Mark); grandchildren Felicia Quiroz (Joe), Ryan Ramirez (Nancy), Vanessa Flores (Jose), Cody Dowling, Carson Leggett (Ryan), Andrew Provitola (Lindsey), and Ashley Provitola; and seven great-grandchildren.
Irma's greatest legacy is the family she loved so deeply. Her love, her faith, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
May she rest peacefully in the loving arms of Christ.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, on September 10, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Memorial Rosary at 7:00 pm.
Friends and family are kindly asked to meet for A Mass of the Resurrection that will take place at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 1730 Dahlgreen Ave, San Antonio, TX 78237, on September 11, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by Inurnment at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237, right after the mass, friends and family are kindly asked to meet at the cemetery using a route map provided by the family.
