Isabel C. Mercado

"Ama" was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and had a very strong faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. She was proud to live on the Westside and very proud of the "Sidney Lanier Voks" and "San Antonio Spurs." Ama was employed and retired from Miller Curtain Company where she worked for 34 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Guadalupe Castillo and her brother, Vidal Mercado. "Ama" is survived by her daughters, Pauline Reyes, Lupe Chavez and her husband, Jesse; her sons, Frank Garza and his wife, Georgia and Samuel Mercado and his wife, Gina; her sister, Lydia Ovalle of Victora, Texas; her brother, Neto Mercado of California; a longtime friend, Ret. Staff Sergeant Guadalupe Torres; grandchildren, Bobbito, Bonnie, Roland, David, Frankie, Johnny, Michael, Alex, Eric, Samantha, Sammy, Rene, Gina and Isabella; 13 great-grandchildren and host of other family members and friend. The family would like to thank Maria and Staff from Odessex Hospice for all their Support.
