Ita Zarate Arizola, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. She was born on December 17, 1942, in Rio Grande City, Texas to Felicia “Lecha” and Federico Zarate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eduardo A. Arizola, Jr.; her parents; and her siblings, Rene, Eloy, and Mario Zarate. Ita is survived by her children, Alan Arizola, Jessica Arizola, and Erika Khoury; her grandchildren, Zoé, Kaela, Seth, Reagan, Benton, Abigail, and Rylee; great-grandchild, August; and brother, Emilio Zarate; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who will all miss her dearly.
