Iva Beatrice Timmons Stricklin

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Leo Stricklin; and sons, Ralph David Stricklin and Robert Timmons Stricklin.

She is survived by her daughters, Jenny Fultz and husband Carroll of San Antonio, Ellen Hunter and husband Dale of Twisp, WA, and Chris Spear of San Antonio; sisters-in-law, Esther Maude Lemons of Sheridan, WY, Obinelle Stricklin of Shreveport, LA; and brother-in-law, James Stricklin of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Jeffrey Tontz and wife Marybeth of Abilene, Sharon Colley and husband Chuck of San Antonio, Michael Paceleo and fiancée Erica Ten Eyck of San Antonio, and Melissa Paceleo of San Antonio; great-grandchildren, Madeline and Miranda Colley, Annamarie and Jacob Tontz; several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her friend of 73 years, Alice Ben of Midvale, UT.

Mrs. Stricklin was born on January 26, 1915 in Cheneyville, IL to John Wilbur Timmons, Jr. and Fleta May Gaskill.

She resided in Albuquerque, NM, Nashville, TN, and Santa Maria, CA, before moving to San Antonio in 1967, where she lived until her death.

She was a wonderfully dedicated wife and mother who was always proud of her family and made sure they always knew that they were loved.

She was a 30-year member of Delta Rho Delta National Sorority, Theta Chapter.
