To our dear friend Ivory C. Ashby.  It is a sad day today.  We just found out of your passing some 17 months ago.  I want to thank you for the years we spent together at RAF Fairford where I was your supervisor.  I looked you up at RAF Mildenhall after you retired. You were working as a cook at the child care center.  I have taken the liberty to inform many of your friends and colleagues from England where you lived for many years.  We are all shocked and saddened by your passing.  Tho we do not all keep in touch you are still one of our Military Brothers.  You served some 20 plus years for America and you deserve great praise for your service.  RIP my Military Brother.  Until we meet again,  God Bless.

i met Charles in Thailand 1966 we met again in England and spent years enjoying each other company   toney blake

Our family was stationed with and father coached team over in Mildenhall

Charles, was a great person , who always made me laugh , and he made a great cheesesteaks at youz guyz, he will be greatly missed.

Charles will be missed so much. He was a brother to my Dad, an uncle to my kids, and a great friend of our family. His kindness and love will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace and we know you and Dad are having great conversations again in Heaven. Love always, the Knight family 

To my beloved family (The Ashbys) my dear cousin Ivory Charles Ashby will be missed. My grandmother (his first cousin) always had the most comical stories of he and his siblings (Mamie & Frank Jr). Rest In The Power Of God’s Might my cousin.
