
J. Paul Easley, long time minister of the Gospel of Christ, passed away on June 11, 2007. He was born to James Austin and Okie Siotha Easley on March 14, 1918 in Genoa Central, Arkansas. He served as minister of the Gospel of Christ for over 50 years, preaching for churches throughout the state of Texas and as editor for Sweet Publishing Company and the Christian Chronicle. His parents, 5 brothers and sisters, his wife, Mary Jane and his son-in-law, Richard Tarrant preceded him in death. He is survived by his 2 daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn and Rudy Gaedke of San Antonio and Sally Tarrant of North Little Rock, Arkansas; six grandchildren and their spouses, Susan and David McGill, Paul and Gina Gaedke, Karen and Craig Parrish, Glen Tarrant, Emily and Josh Hankins, and Bill and Emily Kate Tarrant, 5 great grandchildren, Griffin and Carley Gaedke, Chloe and Jake Parrish, Elise Hankins and his long time friend, Barbara Barrett. The family would like to thank the kind and loving people at VITAS Hospice for helping to make his last days as comfortable as possible.
