Jacinta Almanza Lira

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jacinta A. Lira. She was called to the Lord on September 3, 2022, at the age of 97. She had a passion for life, her church, singing and helping others.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Nativid Lira; daughter, Nora Emmons; mother, Teresa Zavala; father, Pedro Almanza; tios, Beto, Felipe and Kico; tias, Lupe and Rosa.

She is survived by grandson, Henry Garcia and family; granddaughter Bonnie Sarver and family; grandson, Joe Garcia and loving family members from tios Beto, Felipe and Kico's family; tias Lupe and Rosa’s families. Jacinta will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation for Jacinta will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A rosary will occur Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A chapel service will occur Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. An internment will occur Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237.
