Jack proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and retired as a Master Chief.
After Jack's retirement he moved to Maryland, where he worked for the Marriott Hotel Corporation and later he retired from Mueller Wilson and made San Antonio his home.
His survivors include his daughters, Janet Pippin and Catherine Anderson; grandsons, Jesse and Zachary, one great grandson; brother, Arne Anderson, Jr.; sisters Margie Anderson Hannum, Bette Anderson Cook and Suzanne Anderson Showalter; numerous nieces; his unconditional loving companion dog, Bozer, and his friends that had undying love for him.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullough.
