Jack Edward Buckley

Jack was a parishioner of St. Pius X Catholic Church, where he was involved in numerous ministries for almost 40 years. His activities included multiple church choirs, ACTS, Cursillo, Youth Ministry, Knights of Columbus and the Secular Franciscan Order, plus many more. He earned his B.B.A. degree from Southwest Texas State University in 1973, but continued learning throughout his life. He had a love and passion for his Catholic faith, as well as Youth Ministry and over the years he took classes in Youth Ministry, Religious Education and Theology at Incarnate Word and the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Throughout his life Jack worked in the construction and insurance industry and took care of the needs of his family.

After his relationship with Christ, there was not anything more important in life than his family and friends. He was a loving father and grandfather. There was not anything that made him happier than spending time with his grandchildren.

Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria; his father, "Jack"; his mother, Sarah; sister, Joan; and brother, John. His survivors include his wife, Sharon Baller Buckley; children, Natalie (Chris) Gill, Danielle Buckley, Christopher Buckley and fiancée Theresea Seifert; step-children, Samantha & Ethan Krivacka; grandchildren, Wyatt, Haydin and Ryder (Roo) Gill.
