Jack Willis Cheetham, age 90, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on November 29, 1931 in New Straitsville, Ohio. Jack attended Ohio State University, then served in the Air Force. He then resided in San Francisco where he worked as a photographer along with his wife, Betty. Together they traveled the world and contributed to Time/Life Magazines in both cover photos and articles. Jack never went anywhere without his cameras in tow. With that said, a most welcoming attitude and smile, he had friends across the globe. He will always be remembered though as bringing a new neighborhood together creating new friendships for all who were his neighbors. If you were with Jack, chances were, you were having a good time. His neighborhood was his adopted family. We thank you for everything. Rest in peace, and in your words "Uno mas!"
He was preceded in death by his partner in life and work, Betty.
Visitation will be from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
