

"Hogan's the name; fishin's the game." Jack Wallace Hogan, Jr., born the only child of Adriana and Jack Hogan, Sr. in Grand Rapids, MI, September 21, 1933, passed on to heaven, January 11, 2005 in Bulverde, TX.
Jack's family moved to Helotes when he was 3 years old and he was a lifelong resident of the San Antonio area.
He worked in real estate and development for many years. Several years ago, he built an RV Park in Bulverde and there leaves behind a community of friends and neighbors who will deeply miss him.
His passions included fishing, hunting, working on his backhoe, his family and serving the Lord. Jack fished bass tournaments for several years and has traveled the world deep-sea fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Gail; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Walter Nelson; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Nicole Hill; and son, Luke Hill. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Eppie Rose, sister-in-law and husband, Debi and Tom Cox; sister-in-law and husband, Diane and Sam Carmona; sister-in-law and special nurse, Donna Mulkey; nephews Sean and Bill Cox and Michael Carmona; nieces, Vanessa Carmona and Heather "Sugarplum" Mulkey.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Sven Kuestermann, the nurses of 1 West at NCB Hospital, Richard, Amy and April, Dr. David Gordon and staff. Jack fought a long and brave battle with cancer and these wonderful medical ministers were compassionate helpers in the struggle.
