Jack Edward Holder, 59, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025 in his family home. He leaves behind his loving wife, Sabine Holder, of 38 years, his children Scarlett and Charles, Daughter-in-Law Florence and grandchildren Anastazia and Jacqueline.
Jack was born in Austin TX, to Thomas and Inez Holder on February 12, 1966. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Jack devoted 23 and a half years of his life in service of his country and throughout his military career he earned many medals and awards with the most honorable one being the Bronze Star.
Jack had a hard shell on the outside but was a gentle giant on the inside. He broke many generational cycles by taking care of his family, friends and paying things forward to strangers. He had a heart of gold!
Viewing will be on 8/6/25 from 4-8pm at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be held 8/7/25 at 2pm at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery with Chaplin Duff of Word of Hope Christian Church. We suggest that you bring umbrellas for shade and chairs if you have mobility issues.
