Jack and my Dad were so close, they both fought in the Korean War and him and my dad lost contact for awhile  but found each other again when I was a little girl and I remember jack showing up in his military uniform and my dad was always taking videos/ home movies so I  have lots of memories throughout the years I can look back on. I remember he asked me once when I was graduating from high school he said how tall are you.. I said 5’6 , he said that’s a perfect height not too short not too tall… lol and as high schooler I’m like ya right not too short not too tall. He always made you feel special. And as him and my dad aged and my father was suffering from dementia , Jack made sure they talked everyday. Jack I’m glad to call you my Family. I love you and I will miss you❤️

Jack,  you were a mentor, best of friends, and confident to me for more than 40 years. You mentored me in the military when I was a young Warrant Officer and became a close friend.   We spent too many trips to count fishing and camping on the Gulf Coast.  You are sorely missed old friend.  Sincerely, Tom Hill.

I am so proud for knowing you and I will always remember our time that we spent fishing in Wisconsin or down in Texas. Not only did we share blood but we were much closer as we were brother in and. I joined the army because of you and  my father and I will always cherish the time that we spent together. Love you Chief
