Jack N. Whitson

He graduated from Roosevelt High School, Roosevelt, OK. Jack served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He also worked for the San Antonio Police Department and retired after 20 years.

He was the Chief of Police in Frederick, OK from 1983 to 1997 and Sherriff of Tillman County, OK from January 1981 to January 1982.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Paul G. and Lillian Whitson and brothers, Charles F. and Willie Whitson.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Whitson; children, Richard Rosas, Irene Rosas Rocha, Debbie Whitson Andrada, Norma Rosas Gharbi, Dolores Whitson and David Whitson; grandchildren, Beverly Britton, Whitney Miller, Brett Givens, April Rosas, Alicia Rosas and Stevie Rocha; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie, Jim and Eddie Whitson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough Ave.
