Jacob Ray Quintela Jr. was born on February 26, 2016, and passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 10. He lived a beautiful full life, filling the days of those who loved him with laughter, joy, and unforgettable memories.
Jacob loved his football, YouTube, SpongeBob SquarePants, Mario, Angry Birds, and Patchy the Pirate. He was known for his contagious smile and laugh—and for the playful side-eye smiles and kisses that were so uniquely his. A runner at heart, Jacob loved being chased and chasing after his little friends and cousins, turning every game into a fun adventure.
Jacob was greeted in the heavens by his grandma and Popo: Bernadette and Bobby Bazaldua.
Jacob is survived by his parents, Crystal Bazaldua and Jacob Quintela Sr., and his best friend/best sister, Avianna Quintela. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.
In a final act of generosity, Jacob donated his organs, helping save young lives. His courage and the lives he helped save are a lasting part of his legacy. To those who love him, Jacob will always be a superhero.
