Jacqueline Wroten

She was born in San Antonio to Mary Irene and Herbert Avallone on November 11, 1935. She attended St Gerard’s Catholic School 1-12th grade and graduated in 1955. Jackie married William F. Wroten, Jr. on February 6th, 1960 at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church. She worked for USAA and then as a teacher assistant at Regional Day School for the Deaf for 26 years. She was involved in many activities at Holy Spirit Catholic Church reflecting her deep commitment to her faith and community.

Jackie was preceded in death by Bill Wroten (husband), Catherine Kurka, Leonard Kurka, Barbara Kurka, Charles Kurka, Herbert Avallone Jr., Edward Avallone (siblings), and Mary Irene and Herbert Avallone (parents)

Jackie is survived by daughters Karen Bonney (Dave), and Cheryl Sanin (Alfonso), grandchildren Cody Courtney (Katie), Colten Courtney, Nick Sanin, Thomas Sanin, and Callie Sanin, and great grandchildren Bridger Courtney, Cissy Courtney, and Lily Courtney. And numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Cody Courtney, Colten Courtney, Nick Sanin, Thomas Sanin, Alfonso Sanin, and Dave Bonney.

The family of Jackie wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Maria Gonzales and her team for their dedicated care.
