He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Silvia R. Montes; sons, Robert J. Montes, Marcos M. Montes Maria, Gilbert Montes Shannon; daughters, Angelica R. Montes, Sylvia Montes Gilbert Gonzales; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 26 nieces and nephews; brother Guillermo Cabrera and sister Oralia Cabrera .
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to follow Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Porter Loring Mortuary North. Rev. Carlos Boerger will officiate.
