James C. Allison age 77, of San Antonio, died Monday, January 22, 2018. He was a loving and generous man who built a dry-cleaning empire, Pilgrim Laundry and Cleaners, with the best of the best. He loved his family, friends, and co-workers. A born leader who will be greatly missed. He enjoyed people, good conversation, nature and cars.
He was preceded in death by his son, James C. Allison, Jr.; his parents, Wallace and Lucille Allison; brothers, Floyd and W.L. Allison.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Annette Allison; daughter, Gay Ryan and husband, Mike Ryan; special friend, Rosie Prado and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his caregivers, Cynthia Peoples and Cindy Bentley-Winn.
