He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bobby, Glen and Edward Ballengee.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; daughters, Denise L. Ballengee-Wozniak (Art) of Brenham, TX, Debbie G. Ballengee of San Antonio; son, Timothy R. Ballengee of San Mateo, CA; granddaughter, Ashley L. Bailey (Jeremy); great-grandsons, Anthony A. and Austin James Bailey; and his sisters, Betty Jackson of Detroit, MI, Jenneth Hodge of Mineral, VA.
Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
