He was preceded in death by his parents; his infant sister, Helen; his sister, Joanie Laznovsky and his wife, Carol.
Jim served his country in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, attaining the rank of Chief Petty Officer, specializing in electronics and crypto graphics. He then worked for American Airlines in San Antonio until his retirement.
Jim is survived by his children, Michael Burke, Wendy Lancaster (Jackie) of Long Beach, California and Lisa Burke of Ventura, California; brothers, Jerry, Tom, Rolly, Pat and Bob Burke; sisters, Rosemary Belvin and Catherine Attal; grandchildren, Asia, Erica, Chris, Jackson, Evan and Levi; numerous nieces and nephews and his cherished friend and companion, Judy Lock.
All of those who loved Jim are deeply grateful to the people who cared for him during his final journey.
