

James Belton Coker, age 75, passed away on January 2, 2015. James was born in San Antonio on October 13, 1939 to parents Carlton Samuel and Annabell Hesler Coker. To his family and friends, he was simply known as "Bubba".
A graduate of NE High School in San Antonio, Texas, Bubba joined the U.S. Army National Guard and attended the University of Texas at Austin. Bubba spent his early career at City Public Service as a line technician before pursuing a career in auto sales. James enjoyed classic cars and collecting antique pistols and rifles.
Bubba was a 6th generation Texan and was very proud of his heritage. He enjoyed spending the afternoon in his later years relaxing and watching old western series like Bonanza and Gunsmoke.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Suzann Coker and sons Matthew and Michael Coker, brother Carlton Marion and (Cecilia) Coker; daughter Annette and (Bart) Morrison of San Antonio and sons Jeffrey and (Kyle) Coker of Round Rock, Texas, and Gregory and (Stacey) Coker of Tulsa, Oklahoma from his first marriage. James has five grandchildren, Colin and Baily Morrison of San Antonio, Andie and Colby Coker of Round Rock, Texas and Foster Artingstall of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a niece Christina Odom of Lubbock, Texas and two nephews James Coker of Seguin, Texas and Carl Coker of San Antonio, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at the chapel on January 24th, 2015 at 2:00 PM at:
