He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Grace Delaney; a brother, Bob Delaney, and a sister, Jeanne Wagner. Survivors include his beloved wife of 51 years, Catherine Delaney, nee Gleeson; loving daughters, Jean Delaney, Kathleen Schroeder (Jay), and Mary Delaney; cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Patrick, James, Garrett, and Meagan; a sister, Kathryn Dahlke; and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A mass will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
