James Dougherty went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2011. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on July 21, 1948. He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Jimmy Dougherty and wife Rita and two granddaughters, Molly Dougherty and Megan Dougherty. James was member of the Navy and worked in the White House Situation Room. He had a 29 year career with Chuck-E-Cheese and spent the last 13 years as district manager. He moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2009. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home Chapel, and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes. Interment will follow at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
