Jim was born Jan 28, 1964 in Frankfurt, Germany. He was employed as a bus driver by Capitol Metro in Austin.
Jim was also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army 10 years. While in the Army, he served in Korea and in Berlin before the fall of the Wall. Jim earned many military commendations, including the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Joint Service Achievement Medal and the Joint Meritorious Unit Award.
Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Bill.
He is survived by his parents, Jim and Joanne; his fiancé Sherry Meyer and her two children Greg and Lindsey; his sisters, Sue, Carol, Mary and Pat; his brother-in-law, Mike; nieces, Liz, Jennifer, Theresa and Andrea; nephews, Andy, Joey and Ryan; grandnephews, Aiden and Patrick; as well as many friends.
Jim loved animals, had a quirky sense of humor and loved his family.
