James "RJ" Garza, born on February 24, 1981, passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 44. A resident of San Antonio, Texas, James was known for his passionate relationship with the Lord, which he demonstrated in his everyday life. He emulated the presence of Christ as an example for others to follow.
RJ had a comedic side and was a devoted fan of the Spurs, his number one NBA team. He expressed his love for music by singing with his karaoke daily. RJ enjoyed being with family and friends, touching the lives of everyone he encountered.
James “RJ” Garza is preceded in death by his father Ruben V. Garza.
He is survived by his mother Veronica Garza and his sister Allie Elizabeth Garza.
Services will be held on December 30, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 13715 Riggs Road Helotes, TX 78023, with a rosary being recited at 12:00 PM and the funeral mass to follow at 12:30 PM.
