James Stanley Jim Goudge

James (Jim) Stanley Goudge, age 86, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 in San Antonio. Jim had a long and happy career as a manager for Luby's Cafeteria. He was a talented wood worker and the family has many tables, couches and other items that will be treasured for many generations. An outdoorsman, he loved his Ford and John Deere tractors, fishing and his boats. After retirement, Jim invested in multiple businesses and enjoyed keeping active. Of all his successes, of all his pleasures, the top of the list was always his sweet Dodie, his kids and the rest of his family. He was preceded in death by, his wife, Dodie (Dawn); his oldest brother, Fred; his son-in-law, Tom. Jim is survived by children, Stanley Goudge, Dana Beckley and husband, Dennis, Ginger Stiehler, Donald Goudge and wife, Grace; grandchildren, John Beckley, Jennifer Weber, Sunny Beckley, Donald James Goudge, Katie Beckley, Dylan Goudge and Taylor Harris; great-grandchildren, Maximus Weber, Ellie Weber, James Goudge and Killian Whitlock; brother, Don Goudge; sister, Jeanie Snow and husband, Lee.
