'My heart and soul goes out to James and his family for their loss. I worked with James for over 30 years with the company. My first meeting with him was in the early 80's when I was employed as a part-time seasonal driver out of the old UPS Alamo Heights Center. At that time he was a Supervisor there who worked successively on all shifts of the operation. He was there for the drivers in the morning during our Pre-load operation before we left the building, there during the day as an On-Car Supervisor who supported not only the center operation but also helped customers, and then again in the evening at our Un-load operation when the packages were brought back in for processing. He worked his way up in the company serving in various managerial positions throughout the district. I believe he found his ultimate position at our San Antonio Gateway where he could serve an even larger number of individuals which not only included our customers but also everyone that was involved in servicing our customers which affected thousands of people on a daily basis. He was always there to support everyone's success whenever needed. He was especially customer minded and would always go above and beyond to provide excellent service. He stood out as a very warm and friendly individual and manager that would always be positive and supportive even under the most demanding and stressful challenges that were presented. 'Jimmy Gutierrez Family, wishing you and yours our sincerest condolences. Jimmy and I as cousins in our childhood shared many holidays with John Gerard, Tia Amelia and Tio John. I especially remember the Christmases of our lives when we would gather in the kitchen the girls and moms making tamales, the boys playing outside or in loving football even then. Then on Christmas Eve opening the presents we had exchanged gifts children with children and adults with adults. My mom, Lucy, and Dad Gumesindo "Gumie" would pass the evening watching tv and playing dominos. Those memories I cherish always. His days @ Cross with John were great. Just as my high school days @ Providence class of '69. He had his sons @ Cross; I had my girls @ Providence classes '92 & '97 and now my 2 granddaughters. The years go by and we all grew up to be parents and grandparents. 
May God grant Jimmy peace and the family consolation at this time of your loss. God bless all of you.
