

Jay was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and a very caring and selfless, loyal, honest and hardworking family man. He was a friend to many and loved by everyone that met him. Jay was an excellent fisherman who loved both the ocean and lakes. Football, the Spurs, classic cars and any outdoor activities were his passions.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Andrew Hallowich, and grandfather, Chauncey Victor Korn.
Jay is survived by his wife of 31 years, Gay Pendergraff Hallowich; son, Cory James Hallowich and fiancée, Anna Rodriguez; daughter, Kaley Gay Hallowich; grandson, Maverick James Hallowich; mother, Beverly Mae Hallowich; grandmother, Ida Mae Korn; sister, Tammi Lea Keeble; brother, David Victor Hallowich and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Porter Loring North.
