James M. Horton
James M. (Jim) Horton left this world on Monday, January 16 at 6:40AM.
He suffered a very acute and brief illness. He was born September 16, 1942 in Austin, Texas, to Travis and Eula Horton.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Evetts. Daughter, Jessica and husband, Steve Ochoa, son, John Horton and wife, Monica. Two granddaughters, Kathryn (Katie) and Sarah, a brother, Robert Horton, sons, Richard, Edward and William, niece, Alison and husband, Lyman Skolaut, a nephew, Damon Horton and wife, Zandra. Also survived by many great nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Jim graduated from the University of Texas in Austin School of Architecture in 1966. He practiced architecture after graduation until retiring some years ago.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, January 30th at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home located at 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
