James “Jimmy” Arthur Barrera, age 49 went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2015. He was born on September 26, 1966 in Arlington, TX. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed.
Jimmy is survived by his three children, Chris Barrera, Mark Barrera and Sophia Barrera; mother, Martha J Barrera; father, Joe A. Barrera, Sr.; brother, Joe A. Barrera Jr. & wife Gracie; two nieces, Jacquelyn Barrera and Kristin Barrera; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be 6 pm, Monday, October 12, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be 10 am, Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4411 Moana, San Antonio, TX 78218. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
