Jim died after a courageous battle with heart disease at the age of 93. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Virginia and his children, Jim (Wendy), Kathy Bray (David), Pam Velasco (Peter) and Susie Molak (Pat). He will also be missed by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his loving dog Sandy.
Jim was a WWII veteran and POW, an accomplished golfer and lover of Big Band music. Jim's love of life will always be remembered and all that knew him know how much he cherished his family, his country and his freedom. Jim never claimed to be a Hero, always considered himself a Survivor, but he was our Hero! He will live in our hearts and minds forever. Special thanks to Dr. Alan Merin and Jim's caregivers.
