James Robert Meek, went to be with the lord on November 30, 2013. James proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953. After he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, James worked 10 years for WOAI and 28 years for KWEX as an electrical engineer.
James was preceded in death by his son Thomas Meek and daughter Debbie Pearsall. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Rosemarie B. Meek, daughters Linda Juvik, Carol Kiefer, and Brigitte Randolph, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, brother Wilburn A. Meek and sister Frances Wright.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday December 5, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday December 6, 2013 at 9 am at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
