Helen, my prayers are with you; I'm sorry I could not be at the funeral. My mom Elizabeth spoke about James; told many stories about him and said many, many times how much she loved James. Thank you, Helen, for visiting us in Pleasanton after my dad passed away. It meant a lot to me! God bless you and your kids. Rob Sadler

WE RECENTLY LOST OUR BELOVED FATHER, TOO. HAVE FAITH THAT HE IS AT PEACE AND IN A BETTER PLACE NOW. LOVE YOU.

Jim was a special sort of man. Very loving and kind and I will miss him very much.

Jim will always be remembered by us for his infectious laugh and wit. As a new friend, we felt blessed by the memories though too few he left us, 
A couple of examples of "Jimisms" included, "I'm as nervous as a cat with a sore tail in a room full of rockers." and once when asking for Helen during that very busy Pre Christmas time, his response was," Well, she was wantin' to go somewhere she hadn't been in a while,.. so I told her, 'why don't you try the kitchen'." We could hear her gigglin' in the background.

I am so sorry to learn of Uncle James passing. I enjoyed our conversations in the last few years. He had such a wonderful sense of humor. I wish Moma was able to understand and physically able to attend the funeral. I plan to be there on Monday. I am comforted to know that he had accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He never failed to praise and glorify God in our converations. He's with Grandma, and Grandpa, Douglas, Kenneth, and Billy, as well as my Daddy. Praise God. May God bless you all and wrap His arms around you and give you sweet comfort. Love,
