James Thomas Raso

Mr. Raso was an ordained Deacon for the Catholic Archdiocese of San Antonio for many years and a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Raso and Nora Alba Raso.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Rosalinda and Manuel Arocha; grandchildren, Vanessa Felan, Manuel Arocha Jr, Michael Arocha, Nicholas Arocha, Lynn Lozano Arocha, Angel Arocha, and great grandchildren, Calista Medina, Carolina Arocha, Manuel Arocha III, Alicia Felan, Elisabeth Arocha, Malerie Arocha, Rosie Arocha, Giovanni Arocha, Sebastian Felan, and Emery Arocha.

The Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd.,

San Antonio,TX 78237 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.

The Mass of The Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 4535 Lord Rd., San Antonio,TX 78220. Services will conclude at the church. There will not be a procession from the funeral home. Everyone will meet at church.
