

Family and friends knew him as Randy. Randy was born May 22, 1965 to Clarence and Betty Reynolds at Luke Air Force Base near Phoenix, Arizona. Randy was called home by his Lord and Savior on September 28, 2023.
Randy lived in several states growing up including Florida, Louisiana, and California prior to settling down in San Antonio, Texas. He enjoyed moving to different air force bases and making new friends. He was very outgoing and was able to make new friends easily.Randy lived in San Antonio from 10 years old through high school. After high school, he moved to Austin to attend UT and earned a Bachelor of Arts from UNT in Denton. One of his first jobs was in California in radio frequency engineering as an Optimization Specialist for SPRINT. Later he worked for Distributed Wireless Group in Mission Viejo, California. He lived in California for several years but moved back to Texas to be close to his family and friends. He also developed Websites for friends, family, and businesses.
Randy really loved traveling and explored many areas, including Europe. He looked forward to visiting the family farm in Louisiana. Many holidays were spent with his grandparents where he helped take care of the cattle and even the garden. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting with his grandfather.
He had many talents and hobbies. Randy always loved music and became an excellent guitar and piano player. He enjoyed playing guitar with different friends and even had a rock and roll band in high school. He helped his niece, Brianna, learn songs on the guitar and piano. He also liked playing chess and played with as much as 20 people simultaneously across the nation. He and his dad were always challenging each other and sometimes one game would last several days. Randy was teaching his nephew, Evan, how to play chess and he looked forward to their games. He was also on the diving team for many years from high school throughout college. Randy loved to write poems and was a math wizard. Randy had the greenest thumb and owned many plants throughout his life.
Randy was baptized in 1977 at Castle Hills First Baptist Church, where he attended many years. More recently he attended Community Bible Church where he worked in the light and graphics booth. He really enjoyed this and looked forward to it every week. He had a deep faith and enjoyed sharing this with others.
Randy is survived by his parents, Straw and Betty Reynolds; sister, Elizabeth Fortini and her husband Bubba Fortini; and his niece and nephew, Brianna Fortini and Evan Fortini.
